I looked up and was amazed and scared when I saw a dragon's head rear up. Now most dragons breathe fire but this one only gave a weak cough and sputtered.
"Help me," it said in a husky voice. This was also different than what I had been told because I didn't know dragons talked.
"Help you with what?" I inquired behind a large rock in the sand.
"Help me find my glorg."
"What is a glorg?" I asked thinking this conversation was becoming weird.
"It is my firestone," the Loch Ness Monster rasped.
Now it made sense. I ran screaming into town and told anyone that I could stop about the dragon and its glorb. No one would believe me. They counter withed me until an officer appeared in the crowd that had surrounded me.
"What's this all about now," the policeman said in a thick brogue.
"The Loch Ness wants its glorb back. What are we going to do about it?"
The crowd began laughing. "Ha Ha Ha, there is no such animal in our lake. Even if there was we don't want it burning our houses down."
"Sir, Sir?" a small boy said tugging at my pants leg.
"Is this what you want?"
In the boy's hand was a glowing stone. (Ring Ring - the time ended).© A Nation
